The Women's and Children's Health Network provides state-of-the-art healthcare for women, babies, children, and young people across South Australia.
We are seeking a Mental Health Clinician to join our team in providing clinical expertise for children, adolescents, and their families with mental health issues.
- Provide expert clinical guidance for children, adolescents, and their families with mental health issues.
- Actively contribute to monitoring client care plans and clinical review programs/audits to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with consumers in the development of individual care/treatment plans using a recovery framework.
- Promote access and equity of services for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Demonstrated ability to conduct mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions of a complex nature with children, adolescents with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
- Experience in developing appropriate mental health care plans, in collaboration with colleagues, consumers, and families.
- Experience in problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict management, and demonstrated ability to work reflectively with colleagues under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and provide therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and their families.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that promote positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
