Job Opportunity: Senior Clinician Developmental Disability Service

We are seeking an experienced clinician to join our team as a Senior Clinician in the Developmental Disability Service. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to provide expert care and leadership in our multidisciplinary team.

As a Senior Clinician, you will be responsible for delivering direct expert care to children, adolescents, and their families with mental health issues and developmental disability-related health concerns. You will also provide consultation and support to other teams and staff, as well as clinical leadership to multidisciplinary staff.

The ideal candidate will have appropriate qualifications and experience in child and adolescent mental health work, including leadership experience and highly developed communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical expertise for children, adolescents, and their families
  • Deliver direct expert care to individual clients or groups of clients
  • Offer consultation and support to other teams and staff
  • Provide clinical leadership to multidisciplinary staff
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in developmental disability and child and adolescent mental health work
  • Proven leadership experience, including ability to coordinate workflow and motivate staff
  • Demonstrated highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation
