Operational Leadership Role

This is a highly demanding yet rewarding position that offers the opportunity to take on a leadership role within our manufacturing business.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to lead and mentor our production team, ensuring ongoing engagement and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring safety, production planning and scheduling, and overseeing CNC manufacturing and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the hiring, onboarding, and training of the production team members.
  • Evaluate work drawings to determine sequences of operations.
  • Coordinate dispatch processes, including final quality control checks.
  • Undertake fabrication and welding processes.
  • Coordinate planned maintenance activities.
  • Drive culture, processes, and quality control.
  • Ensure adherence to company occupational health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Cert III in Engineering (Fabrication) or equivalent preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques and processes.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of welding and industry standards.
  • Understanding of OHS&E requirements and legislation.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Current forklift license, dogger's license, crane license preferred.
