Event Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Event Manager to join our team in Sydney.

This role requires a creative and flexible approach to event management, strong communication and time management skills, along with stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end event management – ensuring projects run on time, stakeholders are communicated with professionally, and no detail is overlooked. From briefing to planning, execution, and evaluation.
  • Event logistics – develop and manage the critical path, handle logistics and suppliers within necessary timeframes and budgets.
  • Delegate liaison – manage delegate retention, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly to optimize engagement and participation.
  • Speaker liaison – confirm speaker and session details and coordinate AV requirements.
  • Sponsor/Partner liaison – coordinate and engage sponsors pre-event.
  • Supplier management – communicate and negotiate with venues, AV providers, and print services.
  • Interactive website – update with necessary information.
  • Professional communication – maintain confidence in written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Post-event analysis – manage evaluations, collate feedback, and conduct debriefs and budget reviews.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal departments daily to ensure seamless delivery of events, and have a high level of attention to detail and brand awareness.
