About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our APAC Credit team as a Credit Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the origination and structuring of new transactions, as well as providing analytical and modeling support for existing investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough company and industry-specific due diligence, including coordinating with global sector analysts
  • Analyze financial statements, perform financial modeling, and provide valuation support, including comparable analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of legal, tax, and accounting elements, including maintaining currency of rating agency methodologies and developments
  • Prepare decks for screening, investment committee, clients, and credit monitoring
  • Maintain call reports, pipeline files, and generate CRM reports and presentations
  • Anticipate operational issues and ensure seamless transaction closure
  • Collaborate with PE, Real Estate, Infra, and other teams within the broader Apollo platform
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business, or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of sell-side or buy-side experience with strong analytical skills of financial statements, ideally in two or three different economic sectors and/or regions
  • High proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to independently model detailed transactions
  • Use of Bloomberg, Cap IQ, and related market data systems essential
  • Fundamental knowledge of capital markets, accounting, and valuation
  • Resilient, engaging, and personable with strong communication skills
  • Ability to function in a small, nimble team
  • Self-motivated and task-oriented, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective written and oral English communication skills
