RPS is an industry leader in project and program management throughout Australia, with a strong construction Project Management team in Perth, leading a range of significant government projects, including major infrastructure projects.

About the Role

As a motivated and qualified Senior Construction Manager, you will oversee projects and lead a team of construction professionals to ensure all strategic objectives are met and project delivery is achieved to a high standard. You will be responsible for managing all stakeholder relationships, managing and developing project resources, and strategically planning and delivering project requirements to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all stakeholder relationships to ensure a high level of performance in relation to time, cost, and quality requirements;
  • Manage and develop project resources to achieve current and future project and business objectives;
  • Strategically plan and deliver project requirements to ensure a high level of client satisfaction;
  • Deliver high-quality service in consideration of time and cost constraints;
  • Monitor project deliverables to ensure compliance with quality and time requirements;
  • Assist with development and implementation of project programs, including but not limited to concept planning, design, implementation and close out phases;
  • Manage and administer contracts including invoices, reports, and other deliverables within deadlines;
  • Participate consultatively in project and process audits;
  • Assist in selected future bids, proposals, business development and conversion activities;
  • Manage RPS commercial interests in relation to client engagements.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of recent construction and/or consulting project management experience across large scale, complex construction, and infrastructure projects;
  • Professional qualifications in project management, engineering, construction management or similar;
  • Planning or development and delivery phase experience;
  • Managing Contractor experience (preferred);
  • A clear understanding of directing and managing projects through all approval processes;
  • Proven experience with a range of delivery methodologies and contracts relating to large scale construction projects;
  • AIPM Certified Practicing Project Director certification or equivalent is desirable;
