The Role
The Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) is a dedicated team that drives ICT and business projects. We partner with Service Lines to ensure project outcomes meet the evolving needs of internal and external clients. By understanding unique requirements, we identify and support business improvement opportunities, positioning the organisation for enhanced efficiency, innovation, and client satisfaction.
Your Role
As a Project Manager within the EPMO, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact projects that drive operational improvement and strategic alignment. Your primary focus will be on managing project risk, quality, and progress to meet organisational standards and deadlines while delivering in accordance with defined standards. You will serve as a trusted business partner for key Service Lines, leveraging insights to identify and support business improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full life cycle of projects, ensuring that projects meet required outcomes and align with business objectives.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project outcomes, transforming requirements into plans, managing expectations, and delivering results effectively.
- Lead small project teams, including coordination with consultants and vendors, to achieve defined project outcomes.
- Develop, negotiate, and oversee contracts or project agreements to facilitate successful project delivery.
- Proactively manage project risks, applying BDO's risk management framework to maintain quality and project integrity.
- Develop and implement strategies to control costs, adhere to schedules, and maintain project scope and work quality.
- Identify and implement necessary change management strategies to meet evolving project objectives.
- Regularly update on project progress, including detailed metrics for schedule, cost, and risk management.
