About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Finance Project Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading major, strategic banking and finance projects from initiation through delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project initiation activities, including identifying contractual obligations, client needs, and goals.
  • Develop and execute project plans, project scope, activities, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of technical projects, ensuring requirements for internal technology projects align to operational standards.
  • Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and to budget.
Requirements
  • Significant previous experience in a similar role, ideally within Finance/Capital Markets/Lending domains.
  • Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines, as well as various IT project methodologies and life cycles.
  • Advanced skills with project management software.
  • Strong credibility and confidence to manage relationships with C-Suite clients and navigate difficult conversations when required.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience – PMP certification may be required.
