Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and produce original stories, interviews, and features that amplify Indigenous storytelling through Indigenous voices.
  • Generate innovative ideas for cross-platform content showcasing First Nations culture and experiences.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships within Indigenous communities and organizations across the country.

Essential Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills and proven experience in journalism and/or media broadcasting.
  • Understanding of camera, sound, and editing systems is highly valued.
  • Deep understanding of Indigenous Cultural Protocol and ability to communicate sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team with a positive attitude; able to meet strict deadlines.
