Job Title: Health and Security Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Security Assistant to join our team.

About the Role:

  • The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support services, including cleaning and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, including patient rooms, corridors, and common areas.
  • Providing patient care and support services, including assisting with personal care activities and administering medications.
  • Working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure that patients receive high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or certificate in a relevant field, such as health sciences or security.
  • Current Class 1A NSW Security Licence and current First Aid Certificate.
  • Ability to read and understand essential documentation, including safe work practices and infection control procedures.
  • Experience in cleaning practices and systems, as well as effectively and safely managing confrontation and aggression.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic medical records.
