Senior Hospitality Operations Manager

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced hospitality professional to oversee the planning, preparation and compliance of food service, laundry and cleaning operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor and supervise hospitality employees, including reviewing performance.
  • Plan, order and oversee the preparation of all meals (complying with resident dietary requirements) and light refreshments to ensure residents enjoy a quality food experience.
  • Ensure food safety documentation is complete and that all work practices meet HACCP standards. Ensure all corrective actions are completed within specified timeframes.
  • Monitor IRT's cleaning contractor team members to ensure cleaning standards are met.
  • Ensure the management and delivery of hospitality services meets Aged Care Quality Standards and aligns with IRT's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Hospitality (or similar).
  • Certificate IV in Leadership & Management (or willingness to obtain).
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Sound verbal, written, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, negotiating and organisational skills.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise own work and/or work of others to meet deadlines.
