**About the Role**
We are looking to appoint an interested and enthusiastic individual to work at IRT Marco Polo Unanderra in a Part time, 4 days per week capacity.

**Your work will include**:

- Leading, mentoring and supervising hospitality employees, including reviewing performance
- Responsibility for the planning, ordering and overseeing the preparation of all meals (complying with resident dietary requirements) and light refreshments to ensure residents enjoy a quality food experience
- Ensuring food safety documentation is complete and that all work practices meet HACCP requirements. Ensure all corrective actions are completed with specified timeframes
- Ensuring deliveries are received and processed in accordance with IRT food safety plan
- Monitoring IRT cleaning contractor team members to ensure cleaning standards are met
- Ensure the management and delivery of hospitality services meets Aged Care Quality Standards and is in line with IRT's policies and procedures
- Participating in the recruitment, selection and orientation of team members in line with IRT's policies and procedures

**To Be Successful You Will Have**
- Previous demonstrated experience in a similar role
- A relevant Certificate III or IV in Hospitality or other relevant qualification
- Food Safety Supervisor qualification
- Sound knowledge of the NSW Food Authority Audit process
- Strong leadership skills and previous experience leading a team
- Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise own work and the work of others
