The Defence Digital Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chapter Lead - Business Analysis to join our team. As a key member of our Program Management Office Branch, you will be responsible for leading a team of Chapter Members who will be embedded in project teams but report to you as their line manager.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to improve domain knowledge and skills within the Chapter, including providing feedback, developing/sourcing training, coaching, and assessing performance.
- Provide input into strategic workforce planning and Chapter Member allocation to work based on demand, skills, experience, and individual learning objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement of Chapter specific standards, guidelines, and artefacts, taking industry standard frameworks and applying them to the Defence environment.
- Enable Defence Digital Group's new ways of working by modelling agile delivery and leadership behaviours.
- Act as an expert member of a project team, guiding team members to capture business needs, evaluate solutions, and recommend changes to processes and tools.

What We're Looking ForWe're seeking an energetic leader who blends deep domain expertise with a passion for coaching and developing people. You bring an ability to effectively enact change in complex organisations.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
- Proven experience in leading business analysis activities.
- Proven track record of coaching and developing individuals and teams to grow professional and technical skills.
- Strong technical background as a business analyst and experience in creating or improving frameworks, procedures, and toolsets.
- Ability to drive outcomes and develop and execute on complex delivery initiatives.
- Advanced communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and initiatives.
- Experience in resource planning and allocation.
- Intellectual curiosity and passion for learning new professional and technical skills.
- Knowledge in the application of agile ways of working.
