Job Overview

  • We are seeking a seasoned Design Manager to join our team in Brisbane.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and directing the design function across minerals processing and supporting site infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and evaluate the work of engineers and drafting staff allocated to the project.
  2. Programme workloads and provide technical guidance to the Design Engineering staff.
  3. Administer technical briefs for sub-consultant engagement.
  4. Prepare and control issue of the Project Design Management Plan.
  5. Coordinate design interfaces with the Client's other designers as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in the industry.
  • Extensive knowledge on organisation projects and practices.
  • Experience in leading and managing technical/project teams.
