Job Description

As a key member of our operations team, we are seeking an experienced Technical Coordination Specialist to join our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to take on a leadership role in coordinating our technical service delivery across the country.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating all maintenance service activities across our national network, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
  • Managing and evolving our current maintenance system, or helping to build a new end-to-end platform for logging requests, ordering components, and shipping to sites.
  • Assigning tasks to third-party contractors or Field Technicians, prioritizing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Fulfilling consumables and component orders, working closely with suppliers to source raw materials and optimize inventory levels.
  • Overseeing Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) compliance across all technical operations, maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Scheduling and dispatching service teams and vehicles, ensuring the right assets are in the right place at the right time.
  • Triage breakdowns and allocate resources effectively between scheduled and reactive maintenance, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience in engineering supply chains, technical coordination, or maintenance scheduling, with a proven track record of success.
  • A background in industries such as Defence, Mining, Automotive, or similar/relevant industry, with a strong understanding of technical operations and logistics.
  • Strong administration skills and IT savvy, with experience in managing systems and implementing process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with website providers or developers to implement or build a new maintenance platform, leveraging technology to drive innovation and efficiency.
