Job Title: Senior Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Technical Lead to spearhead impactful projects in a collaborative environment.

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing project budgets, preparing fee proposals, and overseeing the urban development design and drafting program.
  • They will also lead civil design activities, including earthworks, drainage, car parks, roads, pavements, and utilities, while coordinating with architects, landscape architects, and engineers at project meetings.
  • A key responsibility will be managing technical reviews and internal QA processes, as well as undertaking project management, bid support, and leadership duties.
  • The successful candidate will set department goals and develop actionable implementation plans, and enhance engineering application processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Chartered Engineer status with NER accreditation.
  • At least 15 years of experience in civil design for buildings, urban development, land development, or brownfield projects.
  • Strong technical expertise in civil design, knowledge of relevant guidelines, Australian Standards, and Local Council Planning Schemes.
  • Understanding of brownfield projects, water environments, and water resource management.
  • Proficiency in civil design software such as AutoCAD, 12D, Drains, and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience in QA processes and design reviews.
