Coastal Guest Experience Specialist

Be part of a warm and welcoming team where you can make every guest's stay memorable.

As a Coastal Guest Experience Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring their arrival is smooth and enjoyable. You will handle guest transactions, provide local insights, and anticipate their needs to create a friction-free experience.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming guests with a warm smile and checking them in according to brand standards.
  • Managing guest bookings, up-selling opportunities, and informing them about ways to enhance their stay.
  • Checking out guests, processing transactions, and acknowledging IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests.
  • Staying one step ahead of guests' needs by recording and acting on their preferences and handling their messages, requests, questions, and concerns.

To succeed in this role, you'll need excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a keen eye for detail. Problem-solving skills are also essential to turn issues into opportunities and ensure every guest leaves with great memories.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • On their feet most of the day, with lots of bending and kneeling.
  • Able to lift, push, and pull large objects (up to 50lbs/23kg) on occasion.
  • Warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to, with good problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible, willing to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • Ideally, have at least one year of experience in a front desk or guest service position.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines.
  • Proficient in basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills.
