Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team.

This role will involve providing corporate IT services for staff, ensuring desktop services are managed and supported effectively.

You will work closely with the Service Desk and Infrastructure teams to deliver high-level service to the business by demonstrating proficiency in user desktop, laptop, software, printers, telephony, video conferencing and basic networking support.

You will also provide technical guidance to assist with issue resolution and help address knowledge gaps within the team.

You will perform local testing of operating system upgrades as well as new peripherals and workstation models to ensure their compatibility with the global SOE environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot Windows domains and networks
  • Deploy client hardware and software
  • Work in an engineering or project environment (preferably defence industry)

This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to hold and maintain a NV-1 security clearance.
