Desktop Support Specialist

This role entails providing exceptional customer service and technical assistance on a variety of technology solutions to support staff.

As a desktop support specialist, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end support for an upcoming hardware rollout project, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to users.

  • Provide timely and effective support with the deployment of new laptops and hardware to users across Canberra and interstate offices.
  • Collaborate with users to ensure a smooth transition onto new hardware, addressing any data migration concerns and issues that may arise.
  • Investigate and resolve ICT problems faced by users during the hardware rollout project and the business, providing guidance through ICT change activities and digital innovation initiatives.
  • iOS Mobile Device Management (MDM) configuration, administration, and training as required.
  • Contribute to the documentation and processing of ICT assets into the asset register.

  • Adequate participation in team meetings, contributing feedback, identifying problems, proposing solutions, escalating concerns when necessary, and seeking advice or assistance when needed.
