Job Title:

Role Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Windows Desktop Engineer. We are seeking an experienced professional who can provide high-level technical support and expertise in designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise software applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Level 3 support for Standard Operating Environments (SOE) including desktop software and device configurations, enterprise messaging and collaboration platforms, remote access solutions, and package deployment across supported environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, maintain, and provide Level 3 support for SOE, including desktop software and device configurations, enterprise messaging and collaboration platforms, and remote access solutions.
• Package and deploy applications across supported environments.
• Manage automated patching and update processes.
• Provide expert technical advice across platforms and services, and represent the team in ICT governance and management forums.
• Resolve complex technical issues escalated from service desk and Level 2 support teams.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure smooth integration and policy compliance.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles.
• Participate in planning and delivery of upgrades, migrations, and new service rollouts.
• Monitor system performance and proactively implement improvements for reliability and scalability.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to ongoing service improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise (M365 ProPlus).
• Expert-level proficiency in Windows 11, Microsoft Intune, and Group Policy management.
• Hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) using Intune.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and Intune, including SOE creation, application packaging, and patching.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.
• Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD).
• Familiarity with Australian Government ICT security frameworks, including ISM, Essential Eight, and ACSC hardening guidelines.
