Production and Packaging Operators Job Description

Goodman Fielder creates daily fresh products that people love. Our goal is to be the best workplace in Australia.

We have vacancies for Production and Packaging Operators at our Clayton South site. These positions are integral to our daily output of fresh bread products.

As part of the operations team, you'll ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective production and packaging of our daily fresh bread products.

You'll need a willingness to learn, aptitude, and history in manufacturing or machine line operations. Good communication skills and commitment to following processes and procedures are essential.

  • Operating machinery and equipment
  • Adhering to Health and Safety/Food Safety policies
  • Performing on-line quality checks

Available shifts include 12-hour shifts with a 2-week set roster working 7 x 12 hour shifts in a fortnight.

About You

Key accountabilities include maintaining a clean and safe work area. Desirable experience includes 2+ years in Food Manufacturing or FMCG environments.

Follow standard operating procedures, work autonomously, communicate effectively, focus on safe working practices, and be willing to learn.
