Bread Production Specialist

We are currently seeking a skilled Bread Production Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of the bakery, you will be responsible for preparing and baking high-quality products that meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Baking and Presentation: Prepare and present quality bread and baked goods according to established standards and recipes.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the bakery, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Team Development: Assist in the development and training of junior bakers and apprentices, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
- Inventory Management: Assist with stock control and production expenses, ensuring accurate records and efficient use of resources.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
Requirements:
- A passion for baking and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Proven experience in a bakery or related industry, with a strong understanding of bread-making processes and techniques.
- An ability to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
