**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, developing intervention strategies, and providing professional development and clinical education for mental health clinicians.

About the Role

The Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist will work with Aboriginal people who have acquired brain injuries, neurodevelopmental disorders, and/or neurocognitive disorders. This is a full-time, maximum term contract position that offers a competitive salary package and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic neuropsychological assessments, case formulation, and behavioural interventions planning
  • Develop and implement appropriate recommendations for clients, their families, and other care providers
  • Adjust communication of neuropsychological assessment for multiple audiences, including those with limited literacy and English language skills
  • Incorporate Aboriginal values into clinical practice, demonstrating awareness of cultural sensitivities and current issues affecting the lives of Aboriginal people

Requirements

  • Masters degree or higher in Clinical Neuropsychology with full registration with AHPRA and Clinical Neuropsychology Endorsement
  • Demonstrated experience in diagnostic neuropsychological assessments, case formulation, and behavioural interventions planning
  • Demonstrated experience in report writing and developing recommendations for clients and care providers
  • Awareness of Aboriginal culture and willingness to incorporate Aboriginal values into clinical practice

  • Total Effective Package: $167,851 - $178,274 per annum
