Role Overview

The Clinical Support Specialist will work closely with the Head to Health Kids team to ensure comprehensive support for children and their families, referred for assessment and treatment. This role involves case management, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and advocating for the child and family in a bi-cultural pair model.

Key Responsibilities

This position requires:

  • A degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers;
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical case management, particularly with vulnerable families facing complex issues;
  • Knowledge of child development, mental health, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as FASD, ADGD, ASD, and Global Development Disorders;
  • A current NT Driver's License.

The successful candidate will be an advocate for the child and family, using a trauma-informed approach and collaborating effectively with the Aboriginal Family Support Worker. A strong commitment to professional development and a passion for working in a culturally sensitive environment are essential for this role.

We offer a competitive salary package that includes: base salary ($100,210 - $112,222 per annum), district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, and estimated tax savings from salary packaging options.
