About the Role:Central Australian Aboriginal Congress seeks a skilled Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist to join its team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive neuropsychological assessments and developing intervention strategies for Aboriginal individuals (18+) affected by acquired brain injuries, neurodevelopmental disorders, and/or neurocognitive disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conducting diagnostic neuropsychological assessments and developing behavioral interventions
• Providing expert guidance on case formulation and recommendations for clients, their families, and care providers
• Developing and implementing effective communication strategies for multiple audiences, including individuals with limited literacy and English language skills
• Collaborating with mental health clinicians to enhance professional development and clinical education
Requirements:
• Master's degree or higher in Clinical Neuropsychology with full registration and Clinical Neuropsychology Endorsement
• Proven experience in diagnostic assessments, case formulation, and behavioral interventions planning
• Expertise in neuropsychological report writing and developing recommendations
• Strong awareness of Aboriginal culture and a willingness to incorporate cultural values into clinical practice
