Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist

The Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist is a key position within Central Australian Aboriginal Congress, responsible for conducting comprehensive neuropsychological assessments and providing tailored intervention strategies for Aboriginal individuals (18+) who have acquired brain injuries, neurodevelopmental disorders, and/or neurocognitive disorders.
This role contributes to the professional development and clinical education of mental health clinicians, ensuring the highest standards of care for our clients.
To be successful in this position, you will require:
- A Master's degree or higher in Clinical Neuropsychology, with full registration with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Clinical Neuropsychology Endorsement.
- Demonstrated experience in diagnostic neuropsychological assessments, case formulation, and behavioral interventions planning.
- Expertise in neuropsychological report writing and developing appropriate recommendations for clients, their families, and other care providers.
- Awareness of Aboriginal culture within Australia's history, knowledge of cultural sensitivities, and a willingness to incorporate Aboriginal values into clinical practice.
