About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Employment Coach at Workskil Australia Ltd. As an Employment Coach, you will play a vital role in assisting our customers to set and achieve their employment goals while meeting the contractual requirements of an employment service provider.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist diverse customers in overcoming personal and professional challenges to achieve their employment goals.
  • Deliver coaching to improve employability skills, confidence, and career planning.
  • Prepare quality resumes, cover letters, and support the job application process.
  • Finding suitable employment opportunities for customers and advocating on their behalf.
  • Refer customers to internal and external support for housing, mental health, and financial counselling.
  • Provide additional mentoring and support during the first six months of employment.
About You

You will be a great fit for the team if you have a passion and drive for helping others. You will be self-motivated, inclusive, and open-minded, and willing to listen and support without judgment. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to achieve individual targets and work to clearly defined KPIs.
  • Strong administration skills and IT literacy, including data entry, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Meeting a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute.
