Key Responsibilities- Assist diverse customers in overcoming personal and professional challenges to achieve their career aspirations.
- Deliver coaching to improve employability skills, confidence, and career planning to help customers secure suitable employment opportunities.
- Prepare high-quality resumes, cover letters, and support the job application process to increase customers' chances of success.
- Finding suitable employment opportunities for customers and advocating on their behalf to ensure they receive the support they need.
- Refer customers to internal and external support services for housing, mental health, and financial counselling to address any underlying issues.
- Provide additional mentoring and support during the first six months of employment to ensure customers settle into their new roles.
We are looking for a passionate and driven individual who is committed to helping others achieve their career goals. As an Employment Coach, you will be self-motivated, inclusive, and open-minded, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve individual targets and work to clearly defined KPIs.
- Strong administration skills and IT literacy, including data entry, Word, Excel, and Outlook to manage customer information and progress.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Meeting a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute to efficiently manage customer data and documentation.
