We are seeking an Employment Claims Specialist to join our team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Triage and manage employment claims efficiently, providing representation for members at the Fair Work Commission.
  • Act as a liaison with members when claims are received, providing support to successfully resolve employment claims on their behalf.

This role requires strong advocacy and negotiation skills, as well as excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have experience in industry advocacy and be confident in case preparation and representation at the Fair Work Commission.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Industry experience: Advocacy with unions, HR member associations or prior in-house roles.
  • Attendance at the FWC: Confidence with case preparation and representation of our clients.
  • A Commercial Mindset: A pragmatic approach to delivering clear, practical advice to our clients.
  • Excellent communication skills: with a lot of this role being phone based, we need outstanding verbal and written communications, with high levels of empathy and emotional intelligence.
