About This Role:
As a leading advocate for workers' rights, we are seeking an exceptional Union Organiser to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of retail, hospitality and housing workers.
The role involves working closely with members, workplaces and stakeholders to identify new opportunities for growth and improvement.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships, leading campaigns and negotiating agreements that benefit our members.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies to grow the union's member base through effective account management in existing workplaces.
Maintain strong relationships with members, workplaces and stakeholders across diverse industries.
Organise and lead campaigns to improve working conditions and negotiate enterprise agreements for members.
Represent members in discussions, meetings and negotiations with employers.
Requirements:
A valid driver's licence
The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
