Continuity and Emergency Management Group Activities Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Continuity and Emergency Management Group Activities Manager to join our team at KBR Government Solutions. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our continuity and emergency management activities, ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Emergency Management (EM) plans.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement emergency management plans and procedures, ensuring alignment with US Government and Host Nation regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Direct contractor staff in their daily duties and provide guidance related to the Emergency Management Program.
- Assist in the development of the annual operating and capital budgets, annual strategic goals, and initiatives.
- Oversee the selection, identification, purchasing, and ongoing maintenance of Emergency Management equipment and supplies.
- Manage security staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Cultivate and maintain robust partnerships with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and your team, fostering a collaborative atmosphere conducive to success.
- Must be a US Citizen and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with adjudicated polygraph.
- A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field, such as Health Administration, Emergency Management, Public Health, or other related field from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of six (6) years' experience in technical and managerial experience associated with continuity at a federal agency with an established continuity program, continuity of government, mission assurance, and/or readiness program or other programs of similar size, scope, and complexity.
- Demonstrated experience working in 24x7x365 operational environments requiring close coordination with mission operations.
- Demonstrated capability to exercise good judgment and respond effectively during emergencies.
