Enhance Your Emergency Department Expertise in the NT
Seeking a GP Locum for an urgent care facility.
Engagement Duration:
Flexible arrangements available in one-week increments. A facility in the Northern Territory is actively looking for locum practitioners on a continuous basis.
The schedule includes 7-day coverage, with weekday shifts from 12 PM to 8 PM and weekend/public holiday shifts from 12 PM to 4 PM. You will encounter a diverse patient demographic, including both indigenous and non-indigenous individuals, primarily classified as cat 4 & 5. The expected patient load is approximately 4 patients per hour. Proficiency in suturing/gluing is necessary, and while Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification is preferred, it is not mandatory.You will collaborate with a supportive and experienced team, working alongside another GP during weekdays, while on weekends you will operate as the sole GP, supported by nursing and administrative staff.
Required Qualifications:
Current Specialist AHPRA registration.
