About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Continuity and Emergency Management Group Activities Manager to join our team at KBR Government Solutions. As a key member of our management team, you will serve as the focal point for continuity and emergency management activities, ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Emergency Management (EM) plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement emergency management plans and procedures to ensure business continuity and minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to address potential threats.
- Provide technical guidance and support to ensure compliance with US Government and Host Nation regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Manage security staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and maintain robust partnerships with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and team members, to foster a collaborative atmosphere conducive to success.
- Authorize and guide technical solutions, products, and processes to ensure they meet KBR's high standards and client expectations.
Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen and possess an active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with adjudicated polygraph.
- A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field, such as Health Administration, Emergency Management, or Public Health.
- Minimum of six (6) years' experience in technical and managerial roles associated with continuity at a federal agency with an established continuity program.
- Proven experience working in 24x7x365 operational environments requiring close coordination with mission operations.
- Demonstrated capability to exercise good judgment and respond effectively during emergencies.
