Leadership Position for Community Service Development

Job Description:
This is a leadership role within the Agency Performance and System Support Unit, responsible for leading a team to develop an in-depth understanding of the local community service environment.
The successful applicant will have responsibility for monitoring and implementing the Agency Monitoring Framework (AMF), including management of local service agreements and the collection and recording of performance data.
They will also be responsible for developing new projects, service pathways, and place-based approaches, and identifying and supporting existing initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead a defined team in providing authoritative and expert advice and recommendations with a specific program or area-based focus, consistent with organisational goals.
- Resolve complex operational problems relating to community service organisations and Service Agreement issues being experienced by the team.
- In collaboration with the relevant manager, manage the allocation of resources within and the outputs required of the work area to achieve service delivery goals.
Key Requirements:
- Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a valid work permit or visa.
- Ability to complete pre-employment screening, including a national police check and misconduct screening.
