Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Perthshire / Central Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering unique and prestigious builds across the region.

About the Role

This position involves managing all commercial aspects of assigned projects from subcontract procurement through to final accounts. Key responsibilities include preparing accurate valuations, tracking variations, and overseeing subcontractor payments. The successful candidate will also maintain tight cost control and forecasting, ensuring commercial compliance throughout project lifecycles.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, with 5-10+ years' experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts, proficiency in cost management software, and excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential. A proactive and detail-oriented mindset, as well as a full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK, are also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all commercial aspects of assigned projects from subcontract procurement through to final accounts.
  • Prepare accurate valuations, track variations, and oversee subcontractor payments.
  • Maintain tight cost control and forecasting, ensuring commercial compliance throughout project lifecycles.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including design and site operations.
  • Produce detailed cost reports and maintain strong project documentation.
