Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced civil engineer to join our rail division on a permanent basis. As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and coordinating multimillion-dollar rail transport infrastructure projects both locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Civil design delivery on major rail projects
  • Design coordination support to project managers and design managers
  • Conduct site inspections and field work when needed
  • Ensure that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and client requirements
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness, and coordination of project deliverables
  • Apply project management principles in carrying out assigned tasks and accomplish project deliverables to the required standard and in a timely manner
Requirements

Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or equivalent are required. Working towards Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status is desirable. Previous experience in track, drainage, or earthwork design is advantageous. Excellent communication skills – written and verbal – are essential. Understanding of Australian standards and codes is also required.
