Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Power and Signals

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering, with experience in project management and delivery. A degree in Electrical Engineering and membership with Engineers Australia (chartered status preferred) is required.

  • Able to manage small to medium multidisciplinary infrastructure projects across track, power, signalling, and overhead.
  • Demonstrate expertise in electrical design, commissioning, and protection systems (AC/DC).
  • Familiarity with HV switchgear and rail traction commissioning processes.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring experience within project teams.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Project Manager – Power and Signals. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering infrastructure upgrades that support safe and reliable tram services.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Utilise resources from delivery teams, contractors, and consultants.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering and membership with Engineers Australia (chartered status preferred).
  • Experience in engineering or rail transport environments.
  • Knowledge of public and private sector contracting arrangements.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring experience within project teams.
