About the Role
This is a significant career opportunity to drive connectivity, liveability and productivity outcomes for Melbourne in a high-performing environment.
You will oversee Package Directors delivering various packages across the project, managing internal and external relationships to achieve project objectives, mentoring Package Directors, and providing advice on key project decisions.
The role involves leading Package teams to ensure project delivery within specified scope, time and budget, providing recommendations to Governance on best project outcomes, considering views from all Package Directors and their individual packages.
To succeed, you must be highly focused and results-driven, passionate about contributing to public infrastructure and working in a high-performing project team to drive exceptional outcomes.
Strong project delivery experience on large-scale rail projects combined with exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills is essential. You must be able to communicate complex technical and commercial matters to government, senior executives and key stakeholders.
Ideally, you will be a tertiary qualified Civil, Electrical or Mechanical engineer or hold a similar qualification with experience working on large rail infrastructure or rail tunnel metro projects.
