**Job Title:** Duty and Intake Officer
We are seeking an experienced professional to manage the daily duty system and provide information and assistance to various stakeholders.
The role will oversee the timely acceptance of referrals for placement and support Case Managers with case allocation, planning, review and closure processes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage the daily duty system and coordinate with Placement Coordination Unit and Department of Families, Fairness and Housing.
- Provide information and assistance to carers, consumers, community members, volunteers and other stakeholders.
- Oversee the timely acceptance of referrals for placement and ensure efficient case management processes.
- Support Case Managers with case allocation, planning, review and closure processes.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the out of home care sector and available resources in the Gippsland region.
- Ability to work collaboratively with agencies and professionals to achieve optimal client outcomes.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
