Accounts Payable Lead

This is a senior role within the Accounts Payable function that requires strong leadership and AP knowledge to oversee the overseas AP team, ensure the integrity of all transactions, and resolve disputes and escalations.

About the Role

Oversight of all files and reconciliations from the overseas AP team involves reviewing and verifying financial data to guarantee accuracy and compliance with company policies.

High volume vendor management requires managing multiple complex statements and identifying areas for process improvement.

Escalations and issues are resolved through collaboration with the Financial Controller and AP Team Lead to ensure satisfactory dispute resolution.

Process local daily automated supplier runs for COD (Cash on delivery) invoices to streamline cash flow management.

The role also involves some treasury and FX tasks, including FX and intercompany transactions, to optimize financial performance.

Your Background
  • A minimum of 5 years in a full-function AP role in a high-volume environment is required.
  • Ideal experience includes handling statements with multiple invoices and resolving merchant disputes.
  • You have been either a Senior AP Officer, AP Team lead, or Supervisor previously, able to manage teams and resolve escalations.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Experience with treasury & FX tasks is preferred but not essential if other criteria are met.
