Our recent growth and expansion have led us to seek a Junior to Mid-level Business Development Manager to assist in growing revenues across our product line, engaging clients through outbound sales calls and face-to-face meetings, and demonstrating the value of our products to C-level decision-makers.
Your role will be focused on assisting the Head of Sales & MD to close sales and retain clients. The ideal candidate will be sharp, confident, and passionate with 2+ years' experience in outbound phone sales, BDM, or account management within the financial services or tech industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage prospects to understand their business needs and sell client solutions
- Understand the Financial Advice, Capital Raising, or Trading process and the ability to communicate where our products fit in
- Provide a meaningful and professional client experience
- Find and nurture new leads within their target market
- Identify and qualify new opportunities
- Liaison with the broader business
- Adhere to successful and consistent management of CRM
- Deliver product demonstrations and onboarding of new users and clients via phone call, Zoom meeting, or in person
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has 2+ years of experience as a Business Development Manager / Sales – preferably in Technology or Finance Sectors
- Has a track record of Successful sales in a B2B Technology or Financial Services
- Is willing to learn and comfortable making outbound cold calls
- Takes the initiative to learn and understand new products and communicate these to new and existing clients
- Has effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Has previous trading experience or comes from a Brokerage background
- Is comfortable working in a small growing team
What We Offer:
A base salary plus a generous commission structure, with an estimated first-year OTE of $110-$120k.
