We are an ASX-listed Fintech company providing integrated digital management platforms, compliance automation, and IPO allocation automation to stockbrokers and wealth management firms in Sydney.

Our recent growth and expansion have led us to seek a Junior to Mid-level Business Development Manager to assist in growing revenues across our product line, engaging clients through outbound sales calls and face-to-face meetings, and demonstrating the value of our products to C-level decision-makers.

Your role will be focused on assisting the Head of Sales & MD to close sales and retain clients. The ideal candidate will be sharp, confident, and passionate with 2+ years' experience in outbound phone sales, BDM, or account management within the financial services or tech industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage prospects to understand their business needs and sell client solutions
  • Understand the Financial Advice, Capital Raising, or Trading process and the ability to communicate where our products fit in
  • Provide a meaningful and professional client experience
  • Find and nurture new leads within their target market
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities
  • Liaison with the broader business
  • Adhere to successful and consistent management of CRM
  • Deliver product demonstrations and onboarding of new users and clients via phone call, Zoom meeting, or in person

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has 2+ years of experience as a Business Development Manager / Sales – preferably in Technology or Finance Sectors
  • Has a track record of Successful sales in a B2B Technology or Financial Services
  • Is willing to learn and comfortable making outbound cold calls
  • Takes the initiative to learn and understand new products and communicate these to new and existing clients
  • Has effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Has previous trading experience or comes from a Brokerage background
  • Is comfortable working in a small growing team

What We Offer:

A base salary plus a generous commission structure, with an estimated first-year OTE of $110-$120k.
