Our organisation is seeking compassionate and experienced individuals to fill the role of Support Assistant. This position involves providing personal care support, including showering, toileting, dressing, and administering medications. Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing assistance with domestic duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Supporting community engagement, including attending doctors' appointments, grocery shopping, and social or recreational activities.
  • Transferring individuals using hoists and slide sheets, and general assistance with mobility.
Requirements:
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
  • A Blue Card (Working with Children Card).
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities).
  • Commitment to infection prevention and control measures, including the use of PPE as directed.
  • A smartphone with an iOS 13.0 and up operating system or an Android 6.0 and up operating system.
