As a key account manager, you will play a vital role in driving business growth and expansion. Your primary responsibility will be to manage key customers and distributors, implementing strategic plans to increase sales and market share.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement joint account plans with key customer stakeholders
  • Presentation of our value proposition at store level to drive engagement and enthusiasm for stocking our range and selling products
  • Educate, train, and build capability in key stakeholders (customers) to drive product sales
  • Drive scalable programs, in-store and out-of-store marketing activation
  • Support the wider team in trade and association events
  • Hunt opportunities to gain further category share of our products
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience with a track record in, and passion for, business development
  • Experience working with builders or within the building and construction industry would be strongly preferred, though not essential
  • A proactive and resilient hunter who is driven and persistent in achieving and surpassing targets
  • A cross-functional team player with strong stakeholder management skills to support execution
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate as required
  • A proven ability to shift seamlessly between strategic and tactical thinking to deliver outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering training programs to build customers' capability
  • Proficiency utilising the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as CRM systems
