Team Leader Counselling Position

We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader Counselling (Loddon) & Youth Lead to guide our vibrant team and contribute to the mental health of our diverse community.
About the RoleAs the Team Leader Counselling (Loddon) & Youth Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading a dynamic team of generalist counsellors, psychological treatment services, clinical care coordinators, and youth counsellors. You will be responsible for enhancing the quality and coordination of counselling services across the organisation, providing direct clinical services and managing a caseload, overseeing day-to-day operations, including staff supervision, budget management, and service delivery, and engaging in complex case assessments and representing the organisation in sector meetings.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership: Mentor and support a diverse team, fostering a positive workplace culture and promoting professional development.
- Operational Support: Manage service demand, client allocation, and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Clinical Excellence: Provide high-quality clinical support and develop staff skills in therapeutic services.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to integrate and enhance service delivery.
- Innovation: Utilise evidence-based practices to support health promotion and effective program outcomes.
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in providing clinical support and supervision, and managing complex cases.
- Expertise: Extensive knowledge of current evidence-based practices in mental health and counselling.
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and make informed decisions.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and foster collaboration.
- Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.
