- Provide strategic direction for the coordination of courses and units, utilising expertise to shape comprehensive and cutting-edge curricula.
- Advise on academic programs and provide guidance to the discipline, ensuring compliance with governance and accreditation standards.
- Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration, empowering fellow educators to thrive in a dynamic and supportive environment.
- Cultivate interdisciplinary collaboration, contribute to thought leadership, and engage in conferences to establish influential connections within the academic community.
- Supervise and mentor honours and postgraduate students, guiding them towards academic success and professional growth.
- Participate in committees, contributing valuable insights and expertise to shape policies and initiatives that drive positive change.
- Postgraduate qualifications, a PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline, demonstrating expertise and specialisation in the field.
- A proven track record of excellence in teaching, service, scholarship, and leadership, with a strong commitment to academic excellence.
