About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader Counselling and Youth Services Manager to join our team at Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in leading our counselling services and youth programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead a dynamic team of counsellors, clinical care coordinators, and youth workers, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure the delivery of excellent services.
  • Clinical Excellence: Provide direct clinical services, manage a caseload, and oversee the quality and coordination of counselling services across the organisation.
  • Operational Support: Manage service demand, client allocation, and ensure efficient use of resources, including budget management and staff supervision.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to integrate and enhance service delivery, including representation in sector meetings.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven success in leading teams, managing budgets, and making informed decisions.
  • Clinical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of current evidence-based practices in mental health and counselling, with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and foster collaboration, with strong ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and stakeholders.
