About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be working closely with a teenager with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to assist with morning and after-school routines.

Your tasks will include personal care, safety supervision, and creating a calm environment that fosters growth and development. You must be an effective communicator, reliable under pressure, and confident in using your initiative.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with morning and after-school routines, including personal care and safety supervision.
  • Create a calm, structured environment for the client.
  • Communicate effectively with the client, their family, and other relevant parties.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with ASD or similar conditions.
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills.
  • Reliability, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
Requirements:
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Working with Children's Check.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
  • National Police Check.
  • Current driver's license and insured vehicle.
