About the Role

At our conference centre, we offer an exciting opportunity to work with fresh food and cook high-quality meals for school groups and community organisations. Our mealtimes are a chance to connect people, regardless of dietary restrictions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to design menus and procure ingredients and kitchen supplies
  • Direct the kitchen team on food preparation and delivery, ensuring efficient service
  • Promote a positive kitchen culture that encourages teamwork and feedback
  • Conduct regular reviews to optimize guest experience and ensure compliance with industry standards
Menu Development

As part of our culinary team, you will contribute to menu design that considers varied ingredients, choices, and supports healthy nutritional value. Your expertise in preparing high-quality meals that meet diverse dietary needs is essential to our success.

Required Qualifications
  • Diploma or Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
  • Ability to coach and mentor others to ensure smooth shift operations
  • Experience with dietary requirements and food safety compliance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
