Facilities Services Manager

This role involves providing high-level support to the facilities team by managing day-to-day work activities and overseeing staff training and development.

The Opportunity

You will work closely with the Building Services Team Leader to provide strategic support in relation to office facilities management.

  • Provide expert advice on facilities requests and ensure timely actioning.
  • Travel to various locations to provide on-site support as required.
  • Liaise with contractors and vendors to resolve facilities issues and maintain office standards.
  • Oversee office systems such as mail distribution, security pass control and stationery supply.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, expectations and resource allocation to achieve effective outcomes.
  • Ensure efficient use of the reception phone system and provide relief as needed.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years' experience in an office supervisor or facilities management role.
  • Experience in project management and coordination of small works, repairs and maintenance is highly desirable.
  • Ability to supervise small teams working to deadlines and integrate into a service environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products including knowledge of AI and automation tools.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Strong organisational ability with effective time management and priority setting.
