We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Team Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff, ensuring the effective operation of day-to-day warehouse functions, and promoting a safe and productive work environment.
About the RoleThe Warehouse Team Lead is a key position in our organization, requiring strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. You will be responsible for mentoring and developing your team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse team
- Mentor and develop team members to ensure a diverse and high-performing team
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflow and efficiency
- Support the recruitment and performance management of warehouse staff
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A proven track record in people management, with 2-3 years of experience in team leadership and related warehouse work
- Strong team building and people development skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- Forklift license and experience preferred
